Florida Beach Vacations

Florida Beach Vacation is Cool

A Florida beach vacation is one of the most calming ways to recharge your run down batteries.

Florida is home to some of the best tropical beaches in the world, and the standards of excellence set by the Floridian shorelines are coveted by the travel world.

While the beaches get all the glory, the Florida beach environs offer a dining experience that will have your mouth watering for the duration of your break. Local produce is served far and wide and there is a dish to suit all tastes.

You can surf, dive, fish and shop ’till you drop, but if it is the sunlit beaches that you long to enjoy, then here are three Florida beach vacation destinations that you won’t want to overlook.

Daytona Beach is billed as the “world’s most famous beach”, and with good reason. The distance across of the beach and the hard packed sand is a sight to bring amazement. But Daytona offers much more, the Museum of Arts and Sciences is a great place to spend a morning, followed by Volusia Mall or the Ocean Walk Shops to purchase treasures.

When it comes to Ft. Lauderdale Beach, the wavewall and beach promenade are two things that you must experience.. The wavewall goes for two whole miles along the primary part of the beach and is one of the signatures of the area. If you’d like to take a walk and do some people-watching, the promenade is the place to do it.

My own favorite has to be Clearwater Beach. This might have something to do with the delicious stone crab claws served at Frenchy’s. But dinner aside, the water is some of the warmest and most calming I have ever enjoyed. Don’t even think about “just a quick dip” because the waters captivate you. And don’t forget the pier for a sunset party!
