White beaches, turquoise waters, pristine coral reefs, dugongs and excellent lodges are part of the experience of this archipelago.
Travel back in time by silently sailing in a traditional dhow, with its triangular sail, and watch some of the 125 species of bird that occur in the area, including the famous flamingos.
We offer four idyllic lodges from where you can explore this tropical paradise, all four distinctly situated on the beach offering activities that complements a tropical island getaway.
The four lodges are:
Marlin Lodge
The lodge is situated on the southwest shore of Benguerua Island, the second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. This unspoilt area offers some of the finest scuba diving sites and some of the best deep-sea fishing in the world.
Benguerra Lodge
Nestled within a bay on the protected north-west side of the island, the Lodge merges naturally into indigenous milkwood and acacia forests and is flanked by thatched chalets built on stilts. Each chalet offers its own wonderful sea view and beach access.
Indigo Bay
Surrounded by azure waters and basking in the tropical sun, Indigo Bay is an idyllic and totally unspoilt island paradise. Located on the south west shore of Bazaruto Island of the mainland coast of Mozambique, the luxury resort is a natural gateway to the enchanted archipelago.
Bazaruto Lodge
Bazaruto Lodge is situated behind the sand spit at the northern point of the island. Accommodation is in rustic A-frame chalets nestling amongst the forested sand dunes. They have en-suite bathrooms and are serviced daily. The lodge dining room caters to the enthusiastic appetite of guests with either fresh crab, crayfish, calamari or prawns served daily. The attractive open air bar encourages guests to meet new friends, while a sundowner trip on a dhow provides a breath-taking way to end the day. There is also a freshwater swimming pool, ski-boating, yachting and Land Rover hire.
